Events Manager – Castle Donington

We are now looking for a confident and experienced Events Manager to join the team based at our Head Office in Castle Donington.
Your Role:
As our Events Manager, you will be responsible for all event co-ordination both internally and externally, inclusive of exhibitions, customer events, sales meetings, and internal celebratory days.
You will be expected to ensure that the whole process is managed effectively with cross-departmental involvement.
Duties will include:
– Management of the Medstrom Academy facility
– Assume control of the marketing administration activities
– Provide support to the marketing team to assist with executing marketing campaigns
– Co-ordination, organisation and execution of exhibitions and external events in collaboration with the Marketing team
– Co-ordination, organisation and execution of internal events
– Marketing budget administration
– Management of the marketing giveaway and consumables stock
– Working with digital platforms such as Microsoft Forms, WordPress, and Eventbrite
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday approx. 8.30am – 5pm.
Experience Required:
To join us as an Events Manager, you will need to be:
– Educated to degree level in Events Management (or a related discipline), or relevant, demonstrable, and up-to-date experience in managing events/ project management
– Capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise workload
– An excellent communicator and have experience of liaising with different stakeholders
– Extremely organised, with a can-do attitude
– Confidential and discreet when handling sensitive projects
– Self-motivated, working well as part of a team, but also independently
– Attentive to detail and have a good understanding of marketing and promotion
– Experienced using Microsoft Forms, WordPress, and Eventbrite (desirable)
