The Solo bed is manufactured at Medstrom’s facility in Castle Donington, UK. This enables superior customer support with outstanding availability, access to spare parts and reduced lead times when you need them most.

Key Features

The low height (21cm) reduces falls risks and the programmable custom height function assists with safe mobilisation from the bed.

The top height (83cm) ensures caregivers of all heights can work safely, reducing moving and handling risks and associated injuries.

The elliptical backrest movement mimics spine elongation. This results in zero migration down the bed, eliminating skin shear and friction.

The side rails are BS EN ISO 60601-2-52 compliant, minimising entrapment risks and ensuring safety even with a deep cell dynamic mattress.

Accessories

Caregiver handset: Intuitive bed articulation, custom height and electric CPR buttons. Designated footboard storage for safety during transit.

Oxygen cylinder holder: Innovative lateral design gives safe storage even at the lowest height. Accommodates all sizes of oxygen cylinders.

IV poles (straight and angled): Easy one-handed height adjustment. Four hooks, each with a 2kg weight limit giving flexible storage.

Side rail bumpers: Foam filled safety side bumpers for added patient safety and protection. Vapour permeable, wipe clean cover.

Warranty: Medstrom offer a 10-year warranty on bed frames, backed-up with a five-year warranty on all electrical parts. This is a no-quibble warranty on the condition that a Medstrom-approved maintenance programme is in place utilising approved OEM parts and that the product is not subject to use beyond the manufacturer’s guidelines and normal wear and tear.
